We're a small crew based on S 4th Street. Been doing copper roofing here since '87 — before it was trendy. If you want someone who'll actually show up, do the work right, and not disappear after the check clears, give us a call.
What We Do
We don't do every type of roofing — just copper, and we do it well. Here's what we actually work on day-to-day.
We cut and bend the panels on-site — no pre-fab shortcuts. Standing seam on steeper pitches, flat-lock where the roof calls for it. Either way, done right.
Get a Quote →A lot of old homes in Old Louisville and Cherokee Triangle have copper that's been badly patched. We fix it properly — matching the original profile, right gauge, soldered correctly.
Get a Quote →Half-round copper gutters, custom-built to fit your fascia. They flow better than aluminum, look better, and honestly look even better once they've turned green.
Get a Quote →Most leaks come from bad step flashing or a chimney caulked three times instead of re-flashed once. We cut it out and do it in copper — doesn't need touching again.
Get a Quote →Custom copper cupolas, finials, cresting — built from scratch in our shop. If you've seen a good-looking cupola somewhere in Louisville, there's a decent chance it's ours.

People ask us all the time if we do regular shingles. We don't. We learned copper in the early '80s and it's all we've done since. Once you understand the material, it's hard to go back — there's nothing else that performs this well over time in a Kentucky climate.
Ask Us AnythingWe've got customers whose parents had us put their roof on in the '90s. They've never touched it. A shingle roof in Louisville is lucky to go 20 years without issues — copper genuinely lasts a century if the flashing is done right.
Fresh copper looks like a new penny. After a few years it browns. After 10–15, you start seeing the green. People see that green on old buildings in Old Louisville and think it's paint. It's not — it's just the copper doing what it does, and it's actually protecting itself.
Most of our customers were paying $800–2,000 every few years fixing shingle problems. Once they go copper, that stops completely. The upfront cost is real, but so is never having to call a roofer again for minor stuff.
Louisville summers are humid. You've seen those black streaks on asphalt roofs — that's algae. Moss loves to grow in the shaded north-facing valleys. Copper is naturally resistant to all of it. Never need zinc strips or chemical washes.
